If you’re expecting a most anticipated list, this is not it. I feel like I’ve already done that in a couple of top ten tuesdays. So this is going to be something a little different.
If you’re anything like me you have a lot of books on your shelves that have been there for a while but you haven’t read. One of my resolutions this year is to reduce the number of unread books on my shelves. It’s a good thought, we’ll see how it goes. 🙂
So these are some of the books I want to read this year that I already own.

Shatter Me is one I really need to read soon! I also need to buy the first book to start lol… Hopefully this year (I'm waiting for a cover change that's probably never going to happen). If I had a bucket list, DoSaB and The Winner's Curse would be on it too. I LOVE The Bone Season so I hope you'll enjoy it lots 🙂
I really need to do something about my giant TBR.
The Winner's Curse is definitely one that I plan on getting to this year! I bought the book a while ago at a book convention and never picked it up because of the return of some books from my other favorite series. I hope The Diviners is good! It sounds amazing, and I might consider buying it for my next book haul. It's just a chunky book though 😀

Daughter of Smoke & Bone is so good, highly recommend you read that one soon. 🙂 I also own the whole Mistborn trilogy and really want to read them soon. The same goes for The Winner's Curse. Last autumn I resolved to tackle my mounting tbr by getting to all the books that have been sitting there unread and trying to reduce the amount of books I buy and download until I get things under control. It's going pretty well so far and I hope to continue it through the year. Good luck with your mission!

Oh man, so many good books on your shelves! I'm there with you though, I'm both purging my shelves of books I don't have an interest in reading anymore and trying to focus in on reading the ones that are left that I REALLY want to! And I say Mistborn!!
I need to have a Sanderson marathon. I have so many of his books and I haven't read any of them! My purged books are going up for trade.
I love the idea of this list. A way to get excited about books you already own! Most of these are books I want to buy, but I have read Mistborn and absolutely loved it! One of my favorite series, but then, I think everything Brandon Sanderson does is gold. I've read the Clockwork Scarab as well. It was really fun and different from my typical reads. Not life changing or a favorite, but time well spent.
I wan to read all of the Snaderson books that I own this year…which is like 7 of them.
