Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted at The Broke and the Bookish in which we answer a given topic.
This week is Top ten books I would classify as all time favorites I’ve read in the last 5 years.
1. Game of Thrones- Really, this represents the entire Song of Ice and Fire series which I started 2 or 3 years ago.
2. His Fair Assassins- Again, the whole series. I freaking love these books.
3. Girl of Fire and Thorns Trilogy- I love the main character and a lot of people die. Oh, the emotions.
4. Partials Sequence- My favorite post apocalyptic trilogy of all time. I honestly can’t tell you why.
5. Cruel Beauty- My favorite book of all last year. Such an awesome mix of mythologies and fairy tales.
6. Red Queen- A new favorite!
7. Heir of Fire- While I thought the previous books were good, this book was a million times better than any of them. THE FEELS!
8. Looking for Alaska- This book got me into reading at least a little contemporary. And into John’s books. While everyone raves about TFIOS, this book is the one that really got me.
9. The Grisha Trilogy- Oh Leigh Bardugo! The first book got you on my insta-buy list, the second made me love you forever, and while I didn’t agree with some things in the third you’ll always be in my top ten!
10. Mortal Danger- Ann Aguirre is also one of my insta-buy authors. I really dug the folklore in this book.

GAME OF THRONES! It made it to my list as a representative for the whole series as well 🙂 I still need to read RED QUEEN and MORTAL DANGER.
Great list! A Game of Thrones made my list and Throne of Glass and Shadow and Bone probably should have. I still need to read Grave Mercy, The Girl of Fire and Thorns, and Cruel Beauty. Glad to hear they are some of your favorites.

game of thrones is on my TBR! i need to wait till this summer when i don't have exams and school so i can read all the series at once. couldn't agree more with red queen! i am almost finished with it right now and i am enjoying it so much! great post today!

Such a hard topic. Song of Ice and Fire made my list too! I haven't read Red Queen yet, but good to see it here.
Great list! I agree with you about Looking for Alaska : it's the book that really got me, the one I can't, and won't ever forget.
Heard a lot about Red Queen, too, I should definitely check it out!
