  1. I love Tula from Tin Star, and the Casual Vacancy was sublime. I actually started my three chapters before DNFing rule because of The Casual Vacancy. I was definitely not getting into TCV and the only reason I pushed on was because it was my beloved JKR. But in the third chapter the book clobbered me over the head, and it is now on my list of best books ever written.
