  1. I don't have a favorite Halloween read just yet. Between the Spark and The Burn was really creepy romance and I think The Retribution of Mara Dyer will be my next creepy read!

  2. I love watching the Nightmare Before Christmas (which is great for Halloween AND Christmas) and reading all of Edgar Allan Poe's spooky stories. Thanks for the giveaway! You can enter my Spooktacular Giveaway at From the Shadows. Happy Halloween! πŸ™‚

  3. I don't have a favorite Halloween read, but I do want to read Man Made Boy by Jon Skovron before Halloween this year. My favorite Halloween movie is between Halloweentown and Hocus Pocus. Thanks for the great giveaway! πŸ™‚

  4. Ever since I was a kid (12 or 13, maybe?), my family's watched Young Frankenstein every year around Halloween. While not particularly scary, it's a tradition, and it's definitely a favorite.

For good ol Halloween atmosphere, you cannot beat The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson!! And for a movie … ANY thing w/zombies lol – I really enjoyed WWZ, Dawn of the Dead, and the original B&W Night of the Living Dead πŸ˜€

  6. I *love* the Evil Dead movies. Typical blood and gore stuff just kind of bores me, and I don't really get spooked from them. Tried watching The Shining with a friend, and he was shocked that I was yawning… πŸ˜› B-movies are fun and silly and keep me engaged. For reads, I tend to read what I always do. Something paranormal/magical. There's not a book that I go back to every Halloween πŸ™‚

Any Stephen King book is a good Halloween read and I love the Charlie Brown Halloween tv special! Thanks for this amazing giveaway – I would love to win!

  8. For Halloween I do not have a favorite read. I try to read 1 new scary book each October though. We love to watch Hocus Pocus each year as a family.

  9. My favorite Halloween movie is Nightmare Before Christmas, I watch it every year on Halloween (and on Christmas Eve too). My favorite Halloween read would be anything by Stephen King, although It is among my favorites.

  10. I just watched Ernest Scared Stupid with my grandson(new to him). I don't guess I have a favorite Halloween book. I read books by Barbara Michaels and she deals with a lot of scary stuff. On the adult side of scary movies…Mama Is wicked. πŸ™‚ Thanks for the giveaway.
