TBR Shame Tag

January 21, 2015     erinbook     Book Tag, Feature

Oh gosh, this is going to be a long one. This is the TBR Shame tag. I’m going to list and count all of the unread books on my shelves so I can be properly ashamed for my failure. I tag anyone who feels brave enough to do this monster. For repeating authors in a row I will not type out the author each time.

I am properly ashamed of myself. I really need to get through some of these books, and maybe pull back on my buying a little bit. How many unread books do you own? Share in the comments!

  1. I am willing to bet that most other reading freaks have just as big TBR list as you do. I know mine is over 200 books. I do not own all of them so I do not feel as guilty. Some books are on there because I want to read them but I have to be in the mood. Others are on there because I want to read them but am waiting until I get a better deal for them. Some are there because at the moment I have forgotten about them. Those are the ones I feel guilty. There will always be a book I want to read and I think that is a wonderful thing. See how much you have to look forward too!

  2. Wow that's quite the list! Good for you for knowing what you have in your TBR! Normally I just go stare at my selves to figure out what's unread lol…

  3. My current tbr stands at about 640 and that's after a book cull and readathon brought it down from 900 last September! So I'm tackling it and I want to get it under 600 by mid February as my next target!

  4. I was just looking at your post linking to all of the tags you’ve done because I was looking for some more tag ideas to do on my own blog and I found this post. I have a fair amount of unread books, but I have NEVER seen a list of unread books so long! My mouth fell open???. I just stumbled across your blog and I love it, so keep up the good work!❤

  5. I have a lot of books on my kindle so probably over a 1000, awful I know but alot of them are the free ones. Althoguh I will not be doing a post on them all, thiink it would take me aweek lol.Good on you, hopefully you get through them. I am getting better at reading the ones I buy.
