Number of Re-Reads: 5? I reread the entire Inheritance Cycle and And Then There Were None.

Genre You Read The Most From: fantasy, there’s no question. Probably high fantasy if we’re being specific.

Best of Books:
1. Best Book You Read In 2015?
(If you have to cheat — you can break it down by genre if you want or 2015 release vs. backlist)
Oh god, well for 2015 releases I might have to go with Queen of Shadows and as for backlist books, the first 2 Mara Dyers.

Best contemporary: uh I don’t read many contemporaries but ANY of Natalie D. Richards’ books sit happily in this spot. Also Liz Coley’s Pretty Girl 13

Best adult book: One of the Torchwood audiobooks, either Ghost Train or Department X

Best fantasy: Six of Crows and Queen of Shadows. Also the Novice.
2. Book You Were Excited About & Thought You Were Going To Love More But Didn’t? The Blind Wish by Amber Lough. Ugh that book.
3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read?
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, I really thought I would hate it.

Any of Natalie’s books, probably the best was Six Months Later, but also Liz Coley’s Pretty Girl 13 and None of the Above by IW Gregorio.

Mara Dyer. I think I might be the new fangirl for this one. Also the Merciless.

So many, I can’t even count them.

Probably for Scorpion Rules because my brain could not figure out what to do with it.

Hands down when I was discussing the Winner’s Kiss cover changes a few weeks ago.

4. Best event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, memes, etc.)?

TBF in Rochester was pretty great, but so was the big event in Pickerington in July.

5. Best moment of bookish/blogging life in 2015?

Either announcing my co-blogger Jenny or revealing the brand new redesign right at the end of the year.

6. Most challenging thing about blogging or your reading life this year?

Not slacking. Lord, the second half of 2015 was slack city. I just couldn’t do it with all I was going through.

  1. Yeeeeeeeeessssssss for the Mara Dyer books! I haven’t read Retribution yet because it was so long of a wait between two and three that I need to read the first two again. I am also looking forward to Truthwitch. Happy New Year. 🙂
