Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Broke and Bookish. This week’s topic is the top ten books that were hard for me to read.

1. The Young World by Chris Weitz
2. Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson
3. Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer
4. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
5. Summer’s End by Lisa Morton
6. The Hit by Melvin Burgess
7. Article 5 by Kristen Simmons
8. Vampires of Manhattan by Melissa de la Cruz
9. The Fever by Megan Abbott
10. Summer House with a Swimming Pool by Herman Koch
Many of these I have reviewed on my blog. What books did you have a hard time getting through? Share in the comments.
It was so hard for me too to read Maximum Ride. I couldn't get into the story and I was bored throughout the entire thing. I loved We Were Liars, I seem to be into strange writing style and this book had that, plus I really enjoyed the whole story. I'm not sure I want to read The Fever, I heard some pretty bad things about it, we'll see.
Great list. 🙂

Maximum Ride was a soulless waste of paper. I wanted to like We Were Liars but I couldn't. If you didn't like Maximum Ride then I think you'd dislike Fever, it's the same soulless, boring kind of book. I reviewed it if you're interested.
