BATMAN: YOUR FAVORITE ANTIHERO

Sybella. In GRAVE MERCY Sybella is definitely anti-hero material. By the time we get to her own story she’s slipped more into a true hero role. Sybella is standoffish but loyal to those who have earned her trust. As an assassin she sometimes has to make shitty decisions, especially considering her family.

AQUAMAN: A BOOK OR CHARACTER THAT TURNED OUT TO BE BETTER THAN YOU EXPECTED (BECAUSE LET’S BE REAL, WE DID NOT EXPECT KHAL DROGO TO MAKE AQUAMAN COOL)

THE FORGETTING absolutely came out of left field for me. Having never read a book by this author I hadn’t thought I’d become addicted to this book or its companion. to this day they’re still favorites of mine.

WONDER WOMAN: MOST BADASS FEMALE CHARACTER (NOT NECESSARILY IN A PHYSICAL SENSE)

Bryce Quinlan. Honestly, who is more badass than the girl who can kill her enemy and casually vacuum their remains up while people watch over video feed. Like that girl has some serious stones.

CYBORG: FAVORITE SCIENCE FICTION NOVEL

Shoot me, I love this book. Especially the audiobook as it is read by Wil freaking Wheaton. I mean this guy could read me the phone book. Still just on story alone this book hits all the right notes for me as someone who missed out on but truly loves 80’s pop culture.

THE FLASH: A BOOK YOU SPED THROUGH

I kid you not, I finished this book for the very first time in about 12 hours. We picked it up at midnight on release day and I read straight through til about noon that day. Took it to the bathroom, ate while reading, I couldn’t put it down. I hate that the author has become just a gross mess of a person. Shame on her.

SUPERMAN: SADDEST CHARACTER DEATH (ALTHOUGH WE ALL KNOW THERE’S NO WAY SUPERMAN IS GOING TO STAY DEAD)

Lehabah. Just, ouch. Why, just why? I literally have a small Lehabah art collection because of her.

I tag my fellow comic book fans, or anyone who wants to do the tag. Have fun

From my shelf to yours,

Erin
