Meet Vivi and Jonah: A girl and a boy whose love has the power save or destroy them.
Vivi and Jonah couldn't be more different. Vivi craves anything joyful or beautiful that life can offer. Jonah has been burdened by responsibility for his family ever since his father died. As summer begins, Jonah resigns himself to another season of getting by. Then Vivi arrives, and suddenly life seems brighter and better. Jonah is the perfect project for Vivi, and things finally feel right for Jonah. Their love is the answer to everything. But soon Vivi's zest for life falters, as her adventurousness becomes true danger-seeking. Jonah tries to keep her safe, but there's something important Vivi hasn't told him.
Perfect for fans of E. Lockhart and Jandy Nelson, When We Collided is a powerful story of two teens whose love is put to the test by forces beyond their control.

I love Emery Lord’s writing and I adored Open Road Summer, so when I heard she had a new contemporary book coming out I was so excited. I’m really intrigued by the synopsis and especially that cover. Love! Have you guys heard of this one? What do you think?

  1. I was lucky enough to snag an ARC of this at ALAMW16. It was the first Emery Lord book I had read and it hooked me. Emery quickly made her way to my auto-buy author list! This was the last book I five starred, actually. I don’t give out five stars very easily either. It was a perfect read and I highly suggest pre-ordering it. If you do pre-order, fill out Bloomsburys form and they’ll send you WHEN WE COLLIDED postcards!

Here’s my review, if you’re interested in reading more about it
